Irig
This monastery is the first foundation of Despot Djordje Brankovic. It is known for its monumental architecture and frescoes and cultural, enlightening andhistorical importance. A well-known Serbian Enlightenment philosopher, Dositej Obradovic, stayed in Novo Hopovo. The monastery is also a place where the relics of Saint Theodore Tyron are kept.
